How does your service work? I want you to relax and enjoy your evening! My service is designed to be completely "hands-off" for you. It includes: - The Planning: Custom menu design and all the ingredient shopping. - The Prep: I do all the heavy lifting and food prep in my own kitchen so I’m not in your way. - The Main Event: I’ll arrive at your home to finish the dishes, plate them up, and provide professional service throughout the meal. - The Table: I provide all the kitchen gear, plus beautiful plates and cutlery. (Just a heads up: you’ll need to provide your own glassware). - The Cleanup: I’ll leave your kitchen sparkling clean before I head out!
What do I need to provide? I aim to be as self-sufficient as possible! I’ll bring all the gear I need to finish and serve your meal. All I ask from you is: - The Basics: A working oven, stove, and access to clean running water. - A Little Space: A bit of room in your fridge and freezer so I can keep things fresh while I work. - The Glassware: Since I provide the plates and cutlery, you just need to have your favorite glasses ready for your drinks!
Is there a minimum number of guests required? Because each dining style is unique, the minimum guest count depends on the menu you choose: - Sharing Menu: Designed for a lively atmosphere, these require a minimum of 10 guests. - 3-Course & Degustation Menus: Perfectly suited for smaller groups with a minimum of 4 guests. If you are planning an intimate evening for just two, please get in touch! I can certainly accommodate smaller bookings, though a minimum spend applies to cover the personalised prep and service involved.
Can I customise the menu? Yes! Every event is unique, and I’m more than happy to customise the dishes to suit your taste, theme, or dietary needs. Just let me know what you’re thinking, and we can design the perfect meal together.
To ensure a seamless culinary experience, I kindly ask for your menu selections at the time of booking. While I’m happy to accommodate adjustments along the way, final changes must be confirmed at least one week prior to your date (or two weeks for groups of 20 or more)
How do I confirm my booking? Your date is officially reserved once a 50% deposit is received. This helps me cover the initial planning and sourcing for your custom menu. I then ask for the remaining balance to be settled the day before I arrive, so that on the day of the event, we can both focus entirely on the food and your guests! *I’ll send through an invoice with all the details so you can pay easily via bank transfer.
What is your cancellation policy? To ensure I can provide the best service to all my clients, the following terms apply to cancellations: Over 1 month notice: Full deposit refund. 7 to 29 days notice: 50% deposit refund. Under 7 days notice: Deposit is non-refundable. If you need to reschedule rather than cancel, please reach out as soon as possible and I will do my best to accommodate your new date!
What areas do you service? While I'm a Heathridge local, I’m happy to travel to your venue or home. - Within 50km: No travel fee applies. - Outside 50km: A travel fee will be added to your quote based on the distance. I want to make sure I arrive fresh and ready to cook, so for very long distances, we can chat about the best way to make the logistics work!
What's the ideal timeframe for booking? Early booking is advised to ensure availability for your chosen date.
When will you arrive? I arrive a minimum of 1 hour prior to service to set up, get familiar with the kitchen, and be fully prepared for the agreed start time. For larger groups, an earlier arrival may be required.
